How do I use the Card Database?
The Star Wars™: Unlimited Card Database is a helpful tool for both finding cards and building decks. Multiple dropdown menus can be used to filter the cards so that you only see the types you want, and the search bar can be used to find the exact card you’re looking for.
The search bar will apply to any text on a card, including title, subtitle, ability text, or traits. It can even be used to search for cards done by a certain artist—just type the artist’s name into the search bar, and you’ll find every card they worked on!
To aid in your search for the cards you want, we’ve broken down what each of the dropdowns means below:
- Aspect – Choose which deckbuilding aspect(s) you want to view, identified by the icons in the top-left corner of the card (top-right for leaders and bases). The different aspects are:
- Vigilance (blue) – Play defensively with the ability to heal damage, remove dangerous units from play, and protect your base from enemy attacks.
- Command (green) – Accelerate your resources and call upon lots of units or strengthen the units you already have in play.
- Aggression (red) – Attack with maximum efficiency and dish out lots of damage.
- Cunning (yellow) – Adapt to any situation on the fly with powerful, immediate effects and lots of tools for disrupting your opponent’s plans.
- Heroism (white) – Fight for peace and justice with cards that feature the protagonists of the Star Wars series. Often paired with another aspect.
- Villainy (black) – Battle for ultimate power with cards that feature the antagonists of the Star Wars series. Often paired with another aspect.
- Type – Select what type of card you’re looking for, such as a unit, leader, event, upgrade, etc.
- Cost – Use this filter to find cards with a specific resource cost, perfect if you’re looking to round out your deck’s cost curve. This filter can also help you find a leader with a specific deploy cost for their epic action.
- Set – Choose which set you wish to see cards from. Note that sets are listed by name, not by number. For example, the first set is listed as “Spark of Rebellion” rather than “Set 1.”
- Format – This filter displays all the cards that are legal for the chosen constructed format.
- HP – Use this filter to find cards with a specific HP stat. This not only applies to units and bases, but also upgrades. For example, if you set the HP filter to “2,” it will display all unit cards with 2 HP and all upgrade cards that provide a +2 bonus to HP.
- Power – Just like the HP filter, use this one to find cards with a specific power stat. Also like the HP filter, this can be used to find upgrades as well as units.
- Arena – Choose to view only ground units or only space units. Bases, events, and upgrades will not appear.
- Trait – Select any of the traits that appear in the game. This filter is a handy tool when building a deck around specific trait synergy, such as a Rebel or Imperial deck.
- Keyword – Use this filter to search for cards that have a specific keyword, such as Grit or Sentinel.
- Rarity – The rarity symbol is found in the bottom-right corner of a card. You can use this filter to search for cards of a specific rarity.
What are Unlimited Identification Numbers (UIDs)?
All players who wish to participate in official Star Wars: Unlimited Organized Play tournaments must have an Unlimited Identification Number (UID). You can register for a UID quickly and easily by signing in with your AsmoConnect account (see below) on StarWarsUnlimited.com.
Players who have not registered for a UID cannot participate in official Star Wars: Unlimited tournaments. Players must only use a single UID and cannot share their UID with others. It is a violation of the Star Wars: Unlimited Terms of Use to knowingly register multiple UIDs or to knowingly use a UID belonging to another player. Duplicate UIDs may be deleted without warning.
Event Organizers must utilize player UIDs to report attendance and other data during events.
How do I register for a UID?
Your first step is to sign up for an AsmoConnect account. You can do so by clicking here.
Once you have an AsmoConnect account, you can use it to create a profile on StarWarsUnlimited.com by clicking on the Player Portal link at the top of the page. You will be prompted to sign into your AsmoConnect account in order to create a Star Wars: Unlimited profile. Once your profile is created, you will automatically have a UID assigned to you.
You cannot use your AsmoConnect account to create more than one Star Wars: Unlimited profile.
Why do I have to provide an email address and phone number to participate in Organized Play?
Fantasy Flight Games needs this data for all participants so that they can be contacted to receive important information regarding any special prizes that could be earned, such as invitations to the Galactic Championship. Also, due to varying local prize laws, we occasionally will need to contact winners for redemption or tax information.
