Twilight of Casual Play

The release of Twilight of the Republic is fast approaching! As we charge ahead toward the launch of Star Wars™: Unlimited’s third set, we want to provide a brief sneak peek at the promos you can earn from the set’s Prerelease Events and Store Showdowns (we’ll preview the Weekly Play promos at a later date).

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the awesome promos you can earn from Twilight of the Republic’s Casual Play events! 

Similar to Shadows of the Galaxy, the Twilight of the Republic Prerelease Box comes with Hyperspace variants of the Two-Player Starter leader cards. This means that fans of the Ahsoka Tano and General Grievous leaders can obtain their Hyperspace versions right from the get-go. Just like with previous sets, the Prerelease Box is the only way to get these variants, so make sure you grab one for your collection!

As for Store Showdowns, just like with the previous sets, participants in these events can look forward to prizes for both participation and placement. This time around, the participation promo features Savage Opress, looking particularly aggressive in stunning alternate art. Just by sitting down to play at the event, you’ll earn yourself a copy of this fierce warrior for your collection. As with previous iterations, the Store Showdown kit also includes Judge versions of this same promo to give to the staff of the event.

As for the placement promo, this round of Store Showdowns will award a copy of the Legendary unit Gor for those who place in the Top 8 and above. This fierce and dangerous unit leaves a serious impact whenever he enters the fray, doubly so when he’s sporting fresh art and a placement stamp. Snag one or more copies at an event, and you’ll be able to impress your friends and intimidate your foes alike!
