What is a Sector Qualifier?
Sector Qualifiers are open, standalone, medium-sized Competitive events that can occur all over the world. They are two-day events hosted alongside an assortment of fun side events, perfect for nurturing the Connect aspect of Organized Play as much as the Competitive. To go along with those side events, each Sector Qualifier has a prize wall full of unique and awesome prizes that you can grab between games. The main tournament itself awards prizes for both participation and placement.
Each set will hold 3 Sector Qualifiers at select locations around the world. Attending a Sector provides the perfect opportunity to advance your Competitive play to the next level and show off what you’ve learned so far!

Sector Qualifier Prizing
Prizing for Everyone
Just by participating in a Sector Qualifier, you’ll walk away with a copy of a special promo card* unique to the current season, as well as a participation game mat featuring a character from one of the latest sets.
For the A Lawless Time set, the participation prizes feature an alternate-art Chancellor Palpatine unit card from Secrets of Power, as well as a game mat featuring art from the same card.
Prizing for Placement
Of course, there are more than just participation prizes at a Sector Qualifier. If you manage to place well, you can earn yourself some additional promo cards* and other goodies that mark you as a top player at these large events.
For the A Lawless Time set, you can look forward to the following Sector Qualifier prizes:
- Depending on your final placement, you’ll earn yourself a varying amount of “promo packs,” each of which contains two alternate-art variants of cards from Jump to Lightspeed, Legends of the Force, or Secrets of Power.
- For Top 256, you’ll earn a pack of exclusive art sleeves featuring art of Chancellor Palpatine.
- For Top 64, you’ll go home with an uncut sheet of every unique unit card in the Secrets of Power set, and if you make it to the Top 16, then you’ll also get an uncut sheet of all the Sector Qualifier promo pack cards!
- For qualifying for Day 2 of the event, you’ll earn yourself a special game mat featuring the art from the Diplomatic Immunity upgrade from Secrets of Power. You’ll also earn a soft crate deck box featuring art of Jyn Erso and Director Krennic. Finally, at the end of the event, if you are the top-ranked player for your deck’s leader, you’ll also receive a Showcase variant of your leader card!
- For Top 32, you’ll earn a pack of exclusive art sleeves featuring art of Qui-Gon Jinn.
- For Top 8 or above, and you’ll receive a stunning Qui-Gon Jinn game mat marked with your final placement. You’ll also receive a full playset of an alternate-art variant of the Qui-Gon Jinn unit card from Legends of the Force, stamped with your final placement in the event. Finally, you’ll also receive a custom single deck pod from Gamegenic!
- For Finalists, you’ll earn yourself a medal that you can wear with pride.
- Finally, for the Champion, you’ll receive a full set of Showcase variants for every leader in A Lawless Time!
*All promo cards feature existing cards from the game with special visual treatments, such as alternate art or a unique graphic design template. No mechanically-unique cards are awarded from events.
