What is a Regional Championship?
Regional Championships (formerly Regional Qualifiers) are the largest open events in the Competitive Play circuit. Similar to Sector Qualifiers, Regionals are two-day events hosted alongside a plethora of side events, with an impressive prize wall that will have collectors salivating. The main tournament itself also awards prizes for participation and final placement.
Only a single Regional Championship is held for each set. While the opportunities to attend a Regional are few and far between, the rewards for doing so are truly massive!

Prizing for Everyone
Just by participating in a Regional Championship, you’ll walk away with a copy of a special promo card* unique to the current season, as well as a participation game mat featuring a character from one of the latest sets.
For the A Lawless Time set, the participation prizes feature an alternate-art The Stranger unit card from A Lawless Time, as well as a game mat, a pack of art sleeves, and a soft crate deck box all featuring that same art of The Stranger.
Prizing for Placement
Of course, there are more than just participation prizes at a Regional Championship. If you manage to place well, you can earn yourself some additional promo cards* and other goodies that mark you as a top player at these large events. The distribution of prizes at a Regional Championship is similar in many ways to a Sector Qualifier, but even grander in scale.
For the A Lawless Time set, you can look forward to the following Regional Championship prizes:
- Depending on your final placement, you’ll earn yourself a varying amount of “promo packs,” each of which contains two alternate-art variants of cards from Jump to Lightspeed, Legends of the Force, Secrets of Power, or A Lawless Time.
- For Top 256, you will earn an event pin to mark the occasion.
- For Top 64, you’ll go home with an uncut sheet of every unique unit card in the A Lawless Time set, and if you make it to the Top 16, then you’ll also get an uncut sheet of all the Regional Championship promo pack cards!
- For qualifying for Day 2 of the event, you’ll earn yourself a special game mat and pack of sleeves featuring the art from the Lawbringer unit card from A Lawless Time. You’ll also earn a soft crate deck box featuring art of the Lawbringer and Agent Kallus. Finally, at the end of the event, if you are the top-ranked player for your deck’s leader, you’ll also receive a Showcase variant of your leader card!
- For Top 8 or above, and you’ll receive a stunning Luke Skywalker game mat marked with your final placement. You’ll also receive a full playset of an alternate-art variant of the Luke Skywalker unit card from A Lawless Time, stamped with your final placement in the event. Finally, you’ll also receive an exclusive Top 8 enamel pin!
- For Top 4 and above, you’ll earn a metal initiative counter that marks you as a Regional Championship elite.
- For Finalists, you’ll also earn yourself a custom Double Deck Pod from Gamegenic, as well as a medal that you can wear with pride.
- For the Champion, you’ll receive a master set of A Lawless Time—that means you’ll walk away with a copy of every card (in every treatment) from the set!
*All promo cards feature existing cards from the game with special visual treatments, such as alternate art or a unique graphic design template. No mechanically-unique cards are awarded from events.
