As we continue toward the release of the Star Wars™: Unlimited trading card game, you may find yourselves wondering what products will be available when the game comes out. Today, we’d like to take a brief look at the three products that will release at the launch of the game’s first set, Spark of Rebellion.

MSRP: $29.99

Right before the full launch of the set, you’ll be able to take part in a prerelease event at any participating store. This means you’ll be able to buy a Prerelease Box, which comes with 6 Spark of Rebellion Booster Packs, 2 promo cards, quickstart rules, damage counters, a deckbuilding guide, and a deckbox. This product is the perfect tool for jumping into this game of unlimited possibilities and provides everything you’ll need if you want to participate in your store’s prerelease tournament. And the best part? It will release a whole week before the rest of the set!

MSRP: $34.99

If you’re looking for a good place to kickstart your collection for this game, look no further than the Two-Player Starter! This box comes with two pre-built, 50-card decks that you can unpack and play right away, along with a plethora of damage counters, quickstart rules, 2 paper playmats, and 2 folded deckboxes. These starter decks are a great way to learn the game or teach someone new how to play. Also, between the two decks are full playsets of 10 cards that can’t be found in Booster Packs, so make sure to grab one of these boxes to complete your collection! If you want an additional peek at the cards in these decks—along with a glimpse of what it’s like to play the game—be sure to check out the associated preview article here.

Spark of Rebellion Booster Packs

MSRP: $4.99

Of course, the main attraction for this game are the Booster Packs! In each of these packs, you will find exactly 16 cards, which consist of a mix of Common cards, Uncommon cards, at least one Rare or Legendary card, a leader, a base, and a foil card. There’s also a small chance of finding a special variant of a card in a pack. For more information about the exact contents of Booster Packs, check out our article about them here.

Note: A display box contains 24 Booster Packs.

Casual Play Kits

As we’ve said multiple times before, Organized Play has been integrated into this game’s DNA since its conception. After all, you’ll need opportunities to play with the cards you collect from the products listed above! Here’s a quick glance at the different Casual Play OP kits that will launch alongside the game’s first set.

Accompanying your store’s prerelease event is the Spark of Rebellion Launch Kit! This kit complements the Prerelease Box mentioned earlier in this article by ensuring that each player in the event has at least one base of each color; that way, you’ll be able to build a deck with whatever aspects you want for the prerelease sealed tournament! This kit also comes with booster packs to use as additional prizing throughout the event.

Of course, the vast majority of Casual-tier OP comes in the form of Weekly Play events. Each Weekly Play kit supports up to eight players for eight weeks of Weekly Play. It comes with special three-card blind packs of promos that are exclusive to Weekly Play, including some special alternate-art cards and Hyperspace variants of cards that normally can’t have one! You earn yourself one promo pack each week that you participate in Weekly Play, so make sure you keep coming back to your store.

Finally, the Store Showdown kits. These kits, as the name suggests, support a 32-player Store Showdown event by providing prizes for it. You’ll get an alternate-art promo card just for participating, and a different one for placing well, so be sure to bring your A-game! This kit also comes with booster packs to use as additional prizing throughout the event.

These OP kits will be available for stores to order at the same time as the actual products for the game’s first set, so be sure to talk to your local game store today if you’re interested in Organized Play!
